Ginger and honey are the two common ingredients in our kitchens. If all these days you have included ginger and honey only to cook delicious food, then there is news for you. These two readily available ingredients are loaded with health benefits and are highly effective for weight loss.

Here is how ginger and honey help in weight loss

Ginger roots help to boost secretion of saliva in the mouth. An increase in the secretion of the saliva helps initiate the digestive process. This further flashes out toxins from the body, improves metabolism and aids in weight loss. Honey, on the other hand, soothes the stomach and keeps ulcers at bay. It speeds up the digestion process.

Here is how to use ginger and honey for weight loss

Crush a small piece of ginger and extract around one teaspoon of juice from it. Add one teaspoon of honey to the ginger juice and blend well. Consume the mixture every day for best results. However, it is advisable to have the mixture once in the morning after you wake up and once at night before dozing off. Since it is a home remedy, it might take time to see the result.
